Steps to becoming a SoHo environmentalist:
- Buy a good book, or maybe take a course where one is assigned. Gaining Ground: In Pursuit Of Ecological Sustainability (edited by David Lavigne) should do well.
- Read enough of the book to learn some impressive buzz words.
- Use what you learned at cocktail parties and rallies. Complain that the government isn’t taking global warming seriously and corporations are destroying ecological niches.
- Toss the book in the street or leave it on a ledge.
