First, I haven’t done a formal search but I am reasonably certain that this is the first ever image I have posted using a fisheye lens. I rented one for this trip, and used it somewhat sparingly. The lens…  The weekend that the nXnw crew visited the Utah Parks, there was a classic car show in Moab. I spent a little time walking around the cars on Saturday afternoon. It’s hard to get good shots of a complete car at such shows, as you need a pretty wide angel lens PLUS a fair bit… .jpg) A brief web search for “RIP Rick James Van” reveals that this van seems to live on the lower east side, which is where I found it. I also took some shots from the sidewalk side, but even with my most wide-angle lens (14mm) I couldn’t quite get the whole van in the picture, which… It’s not often that people sit in a car with the dome light on, so I grabbed this opportunity to get a shot of this family waiting for someone or something both inside and out of their Mini. Because of the proximity, the way they were facing, and with the father looking every which way, I had…  This is the side window to the Cowgirl Seahorse restaurant at the corner of Front and Dover Streets in downtown Manhattan near the South Street Seaport. The vintage Americana look is kind of generic, but I liked the light. I also understand that the interior decor is a bit more interesting, and actually plays off…
