I spent a fair amount of time making abstracts out of the colors.  This is a 1/4 second exposure with the camera pointed (and moving) in the direction of a mix of red and green leaves on the ground.

I’m not sure this is vandalism. It might just have been that the time for the advertisement ended, there wasn’t anything new to put up, and the person responsible did a half-baked job of removing it.   I like the combination of partial words and abstractions.

After the 9/11 attacks, they spent a kajillion dollars rebuilding the Fulton Street subway stop where multiple lines converge.  It’s better lit, some of the walkways seem a bit wider, but it’s still more or less a maze to get from one line to another.
