Canal Street station on the A, C, and E lines. I passed through here 2-3 months ago on my way to a #We35 assignment, but ended up not using the shots I took for that project. this sign caught my eye as I walked through the station. Last night, I chose the image and worked to get it ready, then did something I have not done in quite some time, which is just go all out manipulating it with effect layered upon filter, negating all pretense of pure realism. I don’t know what spurred it.
