To my eye, there is something surreal, or just unreal about this. It’s just a combination of different exposures. No fancy effects, filters, or even HDR.
This is the rocky beach on the east coast of Mt. Desert Island in Acadia National Park, a few minutes after the sun came over the horizon.

17 Jul 2015Beautiful, Mark. Coincidentally I was in Acadia almost exactly when you all were there for your nxnw trip. It was my first visit, and I decided it is just about my favorite place. I can’t wait to go back! This is a great shot.
