This is a very long – 3 minute – exposure from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. As you can see it was not that windy and the clouds hardly moved.
The long exposure and ND filter caused some nasty vignetting which was most easily remove by way of cropping, which is why this has the aspect ratio of a panorama even though it’s just one regular shot.
