On our last morning of the nXnw2014 trip to Acadia National Park we shot the sunrise at Thunder Hole. This is an area where during strong seas the water comes into a particular break in the rocks and makes a loud, rumbling noise. On the day we were there it was kind of subdued but still audible. The land formation on the distant right are the Otter Cliffs.
This is a modestly long, 15 second exposure, and nearly my last shot taken on the island.
