Late August. Gorgeous Day. Decided to walk across the Williamsburg Bridge on the way home.  I had never been on the walkway before.  Awesome evening. The only problem was I ran out of film earlier than anticipated. Minolta CLE Voigtlander 28mm f/2 Kodak Gold 400 film Available In My Galleries Here

The Grey Man made an appearance at nXnw2014, during our first stop at Nubble Light on Cape Neddick near York, Maine. He is difficult to spot outside of his usual habitat of NYC, so this was something of a special event. Available In My Galleries Here

This View From Bear Mountain was taken from an large ledge outcropping maybe 1/3 t 1/2 of the way to the summit.  I actually found it preferable to the higher view point for photography purposes. This was taken a little more than a year ago last October on a Sunday afternoon when I drove up to the park […]

On our last morning of the nXnw2014 trip to Acadia National Park we shot the sunrise at Thunder Hole. This is an area where during strong seas the water comes into a particular break in the rocks and makes a loud, rumbling noise. On the day we were there it was kind of subdued but […]

One morning during nXnw2014, when re returned to our rented home on Mt. Desert Island in Acadia, and saw this group of turkeys moving through the woods nearby.  A few of us tracked them and tried to get shots through the trees.  Suddenly they emerged from the trees and lucky me, I was the only one on […]

Wow; I have not been exceedingly busy this week but I guess I have been distracted as I haven’t posted since Monday, and this has been mostly ready to go all week.  Let me just get this up as is before I forget again. This is somewhere in or between the West Village and the Meatpacking District a […]

This is a quiet spot on an early morning in October, but I was standing on a nice sandy beach so I think it gets a bit more crowded in summer. I know this is Seal Harbor, and I’m pretty sure that the large body of land in the distance is Little Cranberry Island. We […]
