I spent all weekend organizing info for my taxes. I also meant all weekend to take a break and take some close-up shots of the inside of our piano, but never did. Very late last night , round midnight in fact, I saw +Kelli Seeger Kim‘s post announcing that this week’s sub theme for #Macromonday on Google Plus is  INSPIRED BY MUSIC.

Despite the hour, and despite really wanting to go to bed, I quickly grabbed my camera and grabbed a few shots.
The piano is fairly new, as my younger daughter decided she wanted to study piano a few months ago and we bought this in the fall. My older daughter plays guitar. She just turned 13 on Saturday. She received a couple of retired Harry Potter LEGO sets for that occasion,  and has almost finished putting them together.  To my immense pride, she also announced her desire to produce a time lapse movie using them. I’m not sure she’s quite aware of how involved a project that will be, but I mean to encourage her to keep with it.
