Very late posting this today. This is sometimes known as the Mall, and also referred to as Poet’s Walk or Literary Walk because of the statues of literary figures that line the far end. This is the broadest and straightest path I know of in Central Park.
I’d like to thank the Central Park Conservancy for tweeting my photo yesterday of the Bow Bridge, which led to a few hundred more visitors than usual for this humble blog, and a substantial increase of people following my Facebook page.
