One of the neat things about fog is how it can make a structure in the foreground really pop against an obscured background. I’m not sure what this building with the smokestack is, but I like how it looks set against the Brooklyn Bridge behind it.
UPDATE: I discovered that this building, unofficially known as the Smokestack Building or Little Smokestack Building “was once part of a warehouse site for the city’s Department of Purchase and was the only part of it not demolished to pave way for the waterfront park.” Thanks to the NY Post for the info.
