Coney Island Black and White Winter 2012 – Subway Terminal

Out here the subway is an elevated, and more than one line terminates at this station, so the Coney Island subway terminal is a rather ornate and impressive structure as subway stops go. It’s not my sharpest image, but I’m pleased with it nonetheless. I find I need to be a bit more forgiving of technical flaws with film.

  1. Don’t sweat the sharpness Mark, I’ve learned that it is not the main thing in the picture and esepcially with film. The picture still tells the same story. Liking this subway terminal and how it seems to be a decorative piece of architecture where most are just nothing buildings! Very cool!

  2. Love the vintage feel here. The only thing IMHO would of been the absence of the car to keep the “old” feeling. Nice one Mark.

  3. Like Chris said, I really dig the vintage feeling on this. All the grain and white splotches make this very appealing. I am enjoying your film work, a lot!
