Straight Down St. Mark’s Place

You don’t get many opportunities to set up a tripod in the middle of a Manhattan Street and fire off a set of brackets, and you also will not have many opportunities to find St. Mark’s Place completely deserted. Another shot in my Empty City Series.

Which leads in to some self-promotion: Blurb books is currently running a promotion between now and the end of the month. You can purchase my book, Forever the Empty City with a $ 10 discount using the Promo Code “BIGTEN”. This code is good through the end of the month, November 30. You can see a preview of my book at the link. There is also a Link on the top of the sidebar on every page of this site.

  1. Jeez Mark, what a cool scene you’ve captured here! I can’t believe the street was empty for you to capture this… it seems kind of spooky, really, to think of this huge city in modern times, and not a car traveling on the road. I feel like I can reach into the scene and stretch forever here… what a fabulous shot, my friend.
