Grace Church School

Fourth Avenue is only six blocks long in Manhattan, connecting Cooper Square to Union Square. It has a variety of interesting elements, but none quite like this. This is the Grace Church School and Houses, on Fourth Avenue. Grace Church itself is on the other side of the school, on Broadway, and dates back as a congregation to 1808. The current church building, which I will get to eventually, was consecrated in 1848. The Church is Episcopalian. I think the school is nonsectarian.

  1. Perfect place to shoot a horror film. Your photo gives the building something scary. I like it.
