Ecumenism

I missed my two-year blog anniversary yesterday. I didn’t intend to do anything big, unlike last year for the first anniversary when I built a whole retrospective around it, but I had planned at least to mention it. I’ve just been very busy, mostly with work stuff, and the date slipped my mind. So, today marks my second blog anniversary, plus one day. Maybe I’ll do a year end retrospective in December or January — I’ll see how I feel at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, this image is a happy accident. I was concentrating solely on the man in the robe with the mobile phone, paid no attention to any passers-by, and I was completely lucky to catch the young Orthodox boy pulling back a bit from his father’s hand-hold to peek into and point at the inside of the Buddhist temple. This was taken during the Google Plus Photowalk in Chinatown last Sunday.

Which reminds me. I had the pleasure of meeting long time online friend Bob Lussier Sunday and we did the walk together, and today Bob is hosting the latest round of the HDR Collaboration Group with a sweet shot of the inside of the Bolton Emerson Americas machine shop. Please go check that out here.
