Can’t Help But Wonder Where I’m Bound

Every time I publish am image with train tracks in it I think of Johnny Cash, but when I review my song library, which has quite a lot of the Man in Black in it, I rarely find something with a title or lyric that ends up feeling appropriate for the image. In fact, this might be the first time I actually succeeded in the endeavor.

Well that is all it took and now I’m firing up some Johnny Cash. Photo goes very well with the title as well 🙂ReplyCancel

I too love the vanishing point… it contrasts a lot with the rest of the photo; while everything looks somber and somewhat scary, back there we have this bright green tree that might be the hope at the end of the tunnel.

My late father was a train fan of immense proportions. We had a mini HO railroad set in our basement of our house when I was growing up. I think his affection affected me because I just love these sorts of images. This one in particular really evoked some emotions, almost lonely feelings…. what a wonderful photo my friend!ReplyCancel
