This is basically my first Crosswalk shot.  I don’t love it but it barely makes my quality cutoff, and I want to put it out there for the record.  There was one before this but it’s not in focus.   Also, in the background of this shot you can see the two women featured in Bus Stop No. 3, waiting for the bus moments before I take their photograph.
I started pretty much by chance.  I had just come up with the idea for the bus stop series the day before, and I went out again this night.  While walking up Fifth Avenue to move from one bus stop to the next, I had to stop at a crosswalk to wait for traffic, and I noticed someone interesting across the street.  I pulled my camera up to my eyes and triggered the shutter.  That’s it.
