This is Water Street in the Dumbo section of Brooklyn, looking towards lower Manhattan, taken between 9 and 10 on a recent morning. I lived in this neighborhood about 15 years ago and haven’t been back since. It was even less developed and more industrial then. Now the contrast between the old and new is compelling. I plan to return for another photo walk, perhaps in the evening.

Thank you for article about Aperture back on October, learned a lot from it. I am an Aperture user as well. Lucis Art Pro is very expensive but I see you can get similar results with Aperture as well. I may save the money for Lucis Art Pro to buy more glass. I think photographers will never complain of having toomuchglass . Thanks,
